Commentary for Airport Security

I agree with  the article "Has National Airport Security Gone Too Far?  The commentary was well informed due to citing the issues on both sides of the argument of airport security.  We all feel a bit apprehensive going through security at the airport but Transportation Security Administration allows for all travelers to look at the website and determine what issues they may have while going through security.  TSA also recommends to review the procedures prior to the airport arrival to be prepared.
While many people stand by watching while others proceed through security at the airport, many things can be misinterpreted, as the shirtless child being searched.   In all actuality the child's father removed the child's shirt to expedite the screening process and this child was in the under the supervision of his father the whole time while TSA was conducting the search.   This just shows that the perception of one person can influence the situation and how the media can change the perception of an incident.
The authors blog brings both sides and also stresses the main reason for security in the first place which is the safety of the passengers and the airline.  Without the security measures that TSA has taken there would be no effective way to protect the passengers from criminal activity that may take place like it did on 9/11.
Congratulations to TSA and the Department of Homeland Security for protecting the country along with the men and women of our Armed Services and the people that support and follow the rules.  I commend all that follow the rules that are in place for our safety.

The President, Congress, and the Military!!!

Having served in the military for 20 years, I find Democrats in office are destroying the military once again.  First it is the pay freezes, then the reduction in bases, ships, planes, and then the troops.  Having a President that has never served in his armed forces is terrible, and allowing people to serve in Congress without honorable service is a disgrace.
These are the same people we elect to look after our country and ensure our best interests are being represented.  The President is the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces and he has the ability to freeze the military pay increases and send our troops into harms way.   The President is not in touch with the troops if he believes the military families can survive with a 3 year pay freeze.  Members of the Senate and the House that have served in the military are diminishing year by year and are just looking to cut money from service members that need it in pay and in military resources.  It is like a person to the Supreme Court that has never been a judge.  How can an elected official send the men and women of our Armed Forces into a war zone or away from their family and then vote to freeze their pay?
I would love to have all members of the United States government have to serve in the Armed Forces so they would know what it is like to go to combat or on a mission with inadequate supplies or have to worry about your family members when you are away because they may not have enough money.       Now the President has an overpaid committee to recommend military pay freezes for 3 years.  To me it’s obvious where the money needs to come from, all the committees, congress needs freeze their automatic pay raises, and reduce excessive government spending like aides, personal planes and entertainment.
Leave the military pay alone because they are already underpaid for their sacrifice.

Obama

I appreciate your opinion on the political parties and I agree with your analysis of the government with the statement of who has the money has the power.  This is true and whichever party has the majority in Congress has the ability to separate the parties.  Your sad state of affairs blog shows frustration of the American people and their expectation of the government.  I agreed with you until the time you went to belief in Obama, but as for that statement, I belief he is overwhelmed in the White House and was never qualified to be President.  Having six years in a state government office does not qualify him to be President.  Obama has been in office for almost 2 years and the country is still waiting for these changes.
The only thing Obama is going to accomplish in the White House is to keep the country in turmoil and hopefully will not get re-elected by the Americans sold on we need a change that will never happen.  Obama needs to quit fighting with the Republican party and work with them and not against them.  The Obama administration need to hold people responsible and stop trying to ensure that people get handouts at taxpayer expense and allow people to work for what they need.

US National Government

As the government rotates around the world, is the government we know now the same as our forefathers had envisioned with the birth of the nation.  The citizens in the United States have no idea what to expect when voting for their representation in Washington D.C.
Many voters do not have any reason to support the candidates they support except they are choosing because the color of their skin.  I talked to many people this last presidential election and a major said they were voting for Obama because he was black and would be the first black president.  If you ask me that is the same as not voting for him because he is black.  What happened to voting for the best candidate that represents the people of the United States?
Having people voting that are oblivious to the beliefs of the candidate is a slap in the face to voters that really do care about the status and state of the affairs in the United States.  These people need to keep their discrimination to themselves and not let it run into the government of the United States.
The government officials believe in more party lines than they believe in what is good for the nation, whether it is positive or negative issue with their party right is right and wrong is wrong.  As in the Final Report: The Clinton Impeachment Trial, the Senate ended up voting on party lines even though what Clinton did was wrong and any other person would have been indicted.  This just sent a message to the public that the president is above the laws that the citizens in the United States have to abide by.
Having a government that is based on beliefs that are good for the nation is what our founders based their idea of government on.  A government for the people by the people, is what the citizens of the United States should be asking for not a government for a party.  The government is heading to be a socialist or communist state instead of the democracy that we are trying to help other countries to become.

Democrats Opinion (BLAH)

This article about a left wing democrat trying to persuade Republicans to believe as a Democrat would and push his beliefs on his family and other readers.  Many people will not get into a conversation about politics with friends or family because it always seems to turn out bad and neither side wins.  The blogger is Logan Murphy with the article youre-so-left-wing.  This article is presented to the left wing Democrats persuading them that they can convert people to the wrong side of the government.  He also tends to bring up points about the Republican Party that are very general.  Having people try to persuade a family member or a friend of their political views is just wrong.  People need to make a choice of party by which party will help you the most and be better for the country.  Everyone has an opinion and I really don't want to here it unless you can bring facts and not accusations.  The blogger really feels like he made the world a better place since he convinced one of his cousins to jump on the left wing bandwagon.  This blogger isn't very credible and he provides no type of evidence or argument that contains any facts.  He seems to just justify his beliefs and can't accept maybe that a person that does not make millions of dollars can believe in the fundamentals and platform of the Republican Party.  Many people in this day and time believe in a little bit of what each has to offer but then have the tendency to fall back on one party.  I personally believe people should back what is best for them and not to allow public opinion persuade their thoughts and beliefs.

Religion!!

To have a President with an unconfirmed religion is the main subject in the article written in the US News.  The author is presenting the readers with the implied actions by the media and the White House that President Obama is a Christian and is not a Muslim.  The author is not real strong on making the point that he doesn't believe but it I believe it is implied by the questioning of the actions of the press releases involved by the White House and the illusion of a Christian family in the White House.  I believe the targeted audience is any religion that will listen and all Americans that are concerned with the honesty of the government.  The author's intent was to present evidence of the actions that are clearly a ploy to fool the American people and to keep religious groups at bay with no clear cut decision.  I really don't agree with a Muslim in control of this great country but I really despise a dishonest person in office.  No matter what religion a person chooses or whatever it may be have the courage to stand up for your decision.  The author has no reason not to be a credible source and the proof is in the reading with the White House and media releasing certain photos of the family going to church.  The article can be read at this link Presidential Religion.  I strongly believe in having a religious President that should not have the same radical opinions in religion as the same terrorists that the government is protecting the citizens of the United States.

Tax Cuts

The Obama administration seems to belief that getting the country out of debt is the responsibility of only the wealthy.  This article explains the reasoning why that the Bush administration tax cuts should be extended for all not just those who earn under $250,00 per year.  Having the business and wealthy pay more in taxes will just slow the economy by not allowing these people and businesses to create jobs.  Having an equal amount of tax cuts throughout the country would help stabilize the economy and allow it to grow.  Helping the middle class working families is very important but these types of band-aid fixes just prolong the downfall of the economy.  The government should look into spending less and reduce their pay for their own part-time jobs.  Have a look for yourself and make an informed decision.
