Commentary for Airport Security

I agree with  the article "Has National Airport Security Gone Too Far?  The commentary was well informed due to citing the issues on both sides of the argument of airport security.  We all feel a bit apprehensive going through security at the airport but Transportation Security Administration allows for all travelers to look at the website and determine what issues they may have while going through security.  TSA also recommends to review the procedures prior to the airport arrival to be prepared.
While many people stand by watching while others proceed through security at the airport, many things can be misinterpreted, as the shirtless child being searched.   In all actuality the child's father removed the child's shirt to expedite the screening process and this child was in the under the supervision of his father the whole time while TSA was conducting the search.   This just shows that the perception of one person can influence the situation and how the media can change the perception of an incident.
The authors blog brings both sides and also stresses the main reason for security in the first place which is the safety of the passengers and the airline.  Without the security measures that TSA has taken there would be no effective way to protect the passengers from criminal activity that may take place like it did on 9/11.
Congratulations to TSA and the Department of Homeland Security for protecting the country along with the men and women of our Armed Services and the people that support and follow the rules.  I commend all that follow the rules that are in place for our safety.
